We have several talented ladies who enjoy a variety of crafts. LaVonn McCarty is one of them. She enjoys painting pottery and can often be found in the Life Enrichment Room busy with her paints! Over the years she has painted many items including numerous Holiday pieces, college items, and various other pieces. If there is a painting activity, she is sure to be there!

The other day, LaVonn was heard discussing shades of green with Deb Zenor, Life Enrichment Assistant, for a vase she is painting. We can’t wait to see the finished result!

Another one of our talented ladies is Marjorie Walters. In her younger days, Marge was a trick rider spending her time traveling to various rodeos to perform for the crowds. These days, she enjoys a slower pace and spends her spare time crocheting. She has crocheted several afghans for herself and family members, including the one in the photo. She is well-known for her crocheting abilities and loves to give potholders as gifts to friends and family. If you have a question or would like to learn, stop on by!
