The Green Thumbs

Residents living in the Madison Community (Memory Support) enjoy spending time outside doing yard work. The residents have their own private courtyard and have been ‘sprucing it up’ a little each day. To date, the residents and team members have raked leaves, trimmed bushes and trees, and removed dead plants. It has made a big difference and the area looks GREAT!

The courtyard has four bird feeders, multiple hanging baskets, and some container flowers. Each day, the residents check the bird feeders to make sure the birds have food. They also take turns watering their two tomato plants and the flowers. They have done a good job and tomato plants are full of green tomatoes and buds. Everyone is anxiously awaiting the fresh tomatoes!
