Team Member Receives Honor
On Tuesday, August 6th, 2019, we had the opportunity to celebrate Elyse Schroeder, C.N.A. Lori Ristau from the Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA) was present to award Elyse with the IHCA Foundation Scholarship. Residents, friends, family, and co-workers enjoyed celebrating Elyse’s accomplishment with punch and Elyse’s favorite: scotch – a – roos! Elyse has been a part of our Shady Oaks family since February 2016. In December of 2016, she advanced her certification to a C.M.A. Elyse has continuously demonstrated abilities above and beyond the status quo. She holds the prestigious position of “Mentor” at Shady Oaks, in which her responsibilities include mentoring new team members, as well as, being a role living example of our Mission, Visions, and Values. She continually delivers quality of care and she has a strong desire to grow her skills and relationships. Elyse is working to obtain her RN and we are confident she will excel by providing excellence in her field and community.
